MDPE, HDPE granules

TIPELIN is a registered trademark for medium and high-density polyethylene grades manufactured by MOL Petrochemicals Co. Ltd.
MOL Petrochemicals unimodal medium and high-density TIPELIN grades (MDPE and HDPE) are produced by continuous suspension polymerization using low-pressure catalytic process under licence of Phillips Petroleum Co.

Application TIPELIN
Unimodal Bimodal
Blown film
Split film yarn
Blow moulding
Pipe and sheet extrusion
Injection moulding

Characteristics of HDPE Phillips technology

  • Medium and high-density polyethylene (MDPE, HDPE) are produced by continuous suspension polymerization using low-pressure catalytic process
  • Density range of 0.934 – 0.962 g/cm3
  • High polymer purity and constant quality

Bimodal HDPE production uses Mitsui CX technology.
Strengths of HDPE Mitsui CX technology

  • Excellent product quality (Unimodal and Bimodal HDPE)
  • Outstanding combination of the mechanical properties: high tensile modulus combined with an excellent ESCR
  • Outstanding combination of excellent film impact strength and good processability at bimodal film resin
